(Friends....this was written like two months ago. I'm pretty slow with the upload!)

 

I love this time of year. I could spend every minute outside and I know my children feel the same.

Yesterday we visited a local playground to get out and enjoy the change of season. What always amazes me is that my kids rarely play on the play equipment. They would much rather play with all the natural pieces that surround the playground itself.

 The boys made a fire stick.

 

Kites

Crowns

Telescopes

They weaved little baskets to carry all the seeds they found.

They made tiny houses for the ants to explore.

 

 

And a few other bits and pieces.

 

The day was just perfect.
