Amazing Mazes!!

The introduction of some mapping work has sparked Mr Ed on a Map frenzy. He cannot get enough of reading and making maps and mazes. After the rain finally stopped and I got to mow the lawn, Mr Ed was straight outside with scissors in hands, creating this work of art.

He snipped and snipped day after day for about 3days. The entire time he was chatting about the different features of ‘the maze’ (that actually turned out to be an underwater kingdom).

 

On day four Mr K joined in and the Maze now became a ball game. Toss your ball and see how far it lands.

 

Then they added nearly every ball they had and played a ‘follow the leader’ game with the balls in and out of the maze. It kind of reminded me of those marble run games. I couldn’t have pulled them away from it if I tried.
